Commercial Warehouse & Garage Complex

Coordination and completion of eight bay (then partially completed) commercial warehouse and garage complex.

This was a very risky project and a lot of planning went into ensuring that our team could carry out the works safely and according to requirements. The project involved all elements of commercial construction and included: bulk earthworks, structural steel erection, roofing and wall cladding, wall framing, installation of roller doors, road works, infrastructure, landscaping and fencing and the coordination of subcontractors and finishing trades. Working closely with the client and subcontractors we were able to provide a high-quality finish within the contract build time, with minimal disruptions.

In 2015 NT Commercial Developments found itself in a very unfortunate situation when the builder contracted to construct 8 warehouses went into bankruptcy. With the project only 25% complete contact was made with JMT Builders (Brad Hagen) to assist with completion of works. Over the coming months the team at JMT were able to work with us in obtaining approval to complete the works. Throughout the project many issues were faced by the construction team due to previous building practices however with the professionalism shown by JMT allowed for these to be able to be overcome with very little variations to the initial contract.
